Betty Bingham

Affectionately know by most as the treasure of Ocean Ridge, Betty refers to  herself as ‘The Jack of All Trades.’  She was diagnosed with dyslexia in the second grade, but did not let this stop her. Betty’s hand and heart have been seen by many as a cub scout leader, a banker, a fire arms instructor, a town commissioner, a planning and zoning member and a travel agent who also lobbied in Tallahassee for safer travel and drew attention to scams being perpetrated on travelers. As her family’s matriarch, she also oversees 220 acres in North Carolina where they raise rare goats called Arapawa. Betty is highly respected in every circle she enters as her friendly smile and no-nonsense personality is only outdone by her wealth of information.
